Today, I decided to visit the new Costa in Gillingham to see if the service had improved with the new shop. I ordered a flat white and a cheese and tomato sandwich. Unfortunately, the flat white was mostly froth, with the cup feeling almost empty. The sandwich was undercooked and lacked color, resembling more of a melted cheese mess on bread. It seemed like the oven was opened multiple times during the cooking process, resulting in the disappointing quality of the food. Ultimately, I ended up throwing both the coffee and food away.
