Costa Coffee - Réservation de table

I visited here for a take out latté. The coffee was nice and milky, which was decent. I am surprised at the swathe of negative reviews on this site. People seem to be complaining about this place not being COVID-secure, even though I can assure you that the staff have taken all necessary steps to keep people safe. This place has a limited surface area, so I'm sure management have done their best with the space they have got to ensure social distancing. The staff were also friendly and efficient. They seemed very keen to advertise their Christmas blend coffee, or whatever it was. As a minor point of improvement, the staff could maybe have done a better job explaining what this was, as it just...

This costa used to be good when all the girls used to work there. However all the girls have left due to horrific management and disgusting leadership from this franchise. Both shop manager and area managers treat the staff in this shop awful and do not give them any thanks or appreciation. I’m glad all of the girls have moved on to much better jobs and are appreciated in their new work places. I’d recommend going to one central or the cabin as an alternative. Cheaper, independent businesses with lovely staff over expensive, greedy and bad service in this costa franchise

I visited today, waited in the queue where the majority of others observed social distancing and face covering. A man swiftly followed me did not observe either face covering or my or others personal space while he constantly spoke loudly on his mobile, leaning over the glass cake counter. Undoubtedly speading his droplets of possible covid. I gestured to my server, who was apparently uncaring enough to notice or suggest he wear a mask and observe the rules of distancing or the fact he was probably spreading his droplets all over their counter.

Ordered coffees and toasted sandwich and told the girl I was sitting outside. 10 mins later no toastie and it was just left on the counter and gone cold. The girl said I shouted you! Reheated it and was awful so was made to buy another one! No apology. Awful cutomer service in Maghull today and it was empty so not too busy to check me out to give it to me! Aintree Costa so much better and they bring your food over to you. Réservez une table maintenant

Staff really friendly and helpful, coffee was amazing. Staff coped really well when delt with rude costumes when store was really busy. Staff have to put up with a lot with covid Gide lines and are doing everything they can. Really happy with are visit today happy to visit again.

We went for 1st time on Saturday, the restaurant has changed so much, chairs are so uncomfortable obviously to get u in and out ask quick as possible, air con blowing a Gale was freezing coffee cold cos of it Won’t be going there again

Visited on a Sunday was able to enjoy the outdoor seating and cold drinks in the sunshine. Staff really helpful kept a good check on making sure customers did the track trace which was reassuring. Will be visiting again soon.

Absolutely terrible! Worst Costa I've ever been to....mouldy food on the floor, rude staff, terrible attitudes

I had a hot chocolate and it was ok a bit of the weaker side ,the wife had a coffee which was very nice
