Months ago this was one of the best in the Costa chain, staffed by a great manager with an excellent team of baristas. I was a regular customer. How things can change, It seems the manager has been away for quite a while and staff just seem to be temps drafted in from around other Costa locations. Attitude, quality of service and product has collapsed. All coffees served in paper cups (what a waste and awful attitude in recycling) Toilets absolutely disgusting. Tables not frequently cleared, whole place mucky and uncared for. Coca Cola may be a successful drink manufacturer but for sure they do not know how to run a coffee bar chain. Staff lady behind the counter was extremely rude. There was no ice left for drinks but she was so awful to our daughter in response. She could have just said, sorry but there's no ice but she snapped at her twice! It upset her and we won't be returning ever. Even though we live locally. Shame.
This restaurant was bustling when we arrived, but we were still able to secure a table. The coffee was served in real cups, unlike Coffee no. 1. There was a slight congestion in the serving area, with customers standing and waiting for their drinks, but overall our experience was enjoyable.
Nice staff we had two coffees and bacon rolls before heading to the New Year’s Day Races at Cheltenham the two girls running the place are great make sure they get double time for working on New Year’s Day

The staff were very welcoming, this store is certainly a step above the others we have visited. Nothing was too much trouble for the girls here. Clean, tidy and not forgetting the delicious cakes we had
The staff inadvertently neglected our order of 3 flat whites, but they were very apologetic and promptly refunded us when they realized their mistake. We would recommend this restaurant.
While walking up the high street with my grandma and grandpa, we needed to use the restroom so we stopped at the coffee shop. The staff did not ask us anything. - Mr. Billingham.
This store is back to how it once was, fantastic to see the manager back! Superbly clean. And all the girls are chatty and go above beyond to help you
