We walked down Mill Lane tired and hungry after a shopping trip and this place drew us in, and I am so pleased that it did. We had the most amazing welcome, all the staff gave offered us the very best service, they have clearly employed the best team, not only were all the staff trained to a very high standard but they were all genuinely happy, this equals fantastic service so well done! I opted for a chicken salad, and I really did not want it to end it was delicious, my husband decided on the filet, and judging by how fast it left his plate it was another very good dish. Cote in central Cardiff is normally excellent, especially for breakfast which is when I usually visit. There's a good range of options for breakfast from the traditional bacon and eggs, to eggs royale and pastries and French breakfast. The staff are usually helpful and friendly. The restaurant opens from which isn't obvious. Most recently I dropped in at but was greeted by a stroppy member of staff who filled me in about the opening times. I probably would have waited until but didn't like the person's attitude so decided to go next door to another restaurant. It opens at by the way.
I went to bill’s for the first time almost two years ago when it had recently opened in cardiff to brunch before he left cardiff with the train. because of its location and all large glass windows, it has a really beautiful ambiente. it is beautifully decorated. the food was good and there was much to choose from in the menu.
We were welcomed, sitting, served with friendly efficiency, and all our dishes were up to Côtes usual high standard, with a good wine list. The only disappointment was that the Vegan starter was not available for the reason that limited the choices of a person.
