Very good service and menu selection. There were a variety of options without overwhelming. Chicken Fried Chicken was perfectly cooked. There was no oil on the plate. I hesitate to order this kind of food because I never know if the oil will be hot enough to freeze the food properly. This restaurant knows how to do it right! The Garlic Mashed Potatoes were sprayed directly with skin-resolving red potatoes. While I didn't taste garlic, I found that they were seasoned well and thought they were delicious. We weren't sure at first how many people in our party as one or two people might or might not have come. When we expressed moving to a bigger table when we thought there were going to be two extra people she said it was out of her section and offered to move the next table onto ours. In the end we didn't really need the extra room as one of the two extras didn't show. The food was great. I got the all you can eat special. They came in a small plate the same as the ones for bread. Service is good, but the food is really not appetizing. We had the chicken frying, garlic crabs, roasted okra, fries, macaroni cheese and chicken dumplings. Makkaroni was only pasta without sauce, okra had no taste, and the frits/pommes were easy to use. Brisket and shrimp were dishes we both agreed that we would not ask for a box. The only item we enjoyed from our order was fried mushrooms. The waiter was very friendly and courteous, food was simply not in place.

We haven't been here in a few months. WOW! It has changed for the BEST! Every staff member said hi or welcome on the way in. All the staff was helping each other service customers. Clean tables. Clean restroom. Food was served nicely on the plate. I can't think of anything they could have done to do any better. I'm looking forward to coming back. Try their brisket queso if you have 2-3 people to share it. Very good stuff!

Chicken Fired Steak for Chicken Fried Steak Day! This delicious South Comfort item has NOT disappointed! We didn't order the lunch and so happy! Beautiful big steak, crispy to perfection. Broccoli and Rice Casserole, Sweet Potato Fries, Cheese Potato Soup and Mac Cheese. Amazing (rolls were also warm and tasty)
