On the way to Houston for dinner. Found on Google Maps. The food was just okay. My Caesar salad had enough dressing for three salads, and my grilled shrimps were already cold when they arrived at the table. The fried green tomatoes were cut too thick and not well cooked. The land fried bacon was interesting. Not crazy, but I'll order it for someone who's trying. But the dinner rolls were very good. Service was slow, had to wait a few minutes before we realized and then sit. Waits longer than you should expect drinks, etc. We learned that the name of our server was Jay. Jay was pretty slutty. He was the only server when we arrived. I think he's done pretty well considering taking care of eight tables. A table was a party of about eight people. Finally, others joined him and the pace of the service decreased. I recommend Jay to push through, although a little the attitude we have experienced when we have arrived is suggested. We know that it is not his fault that management had no employees at a good level. We talked to Jay and prayed for him and for his grandfather. Lucky to say that when we left Jay, he smiled and in a much better mood. I hope he will have the help he needs in the future.
