Coucaril - Réserver une table

We were 5 people, each ordering one of their fancy chocolate drinks or fancy teas plus a plate of macaroons, so our bill was not insignificant. We drank, we munched, we chatted, we continued chatting after we finished our drinks, this is a café after all, when the manager comes over and asks us to please liberate the table if we were finished our drinks, as she claimed she was having to turn away customers. We had been there for maybe 30 minutes.... Well, we got the hint! Upon leaving I noticed two other families with children who were there when we arrived and were quite obviously finished as well. I was curious if they had been asked to leave as well? Did not appear so, but it does not matter. Nobody was waiting at the door when we left either. Basically they do not give a damn about you. They are in a tourist location, lots of through traffic, maybe figured we will probably not come back anyway. You paided your bill now please leave, I have other customers.... maybe..... Not me, that is for sure.

What a fabulous and original tea house/restaurant/boutique. They sell adorable cups and saucers as well as sweets and chocolates and little souvenirs. We had their crepes on their outside deck on a hot sunny day in February. The food was very good and the service was great. The owner and waitress were both very friendly and welcoming. We were only adults, but I’m sure children would love it too as it is a lovely setting.

I enjoyed the food here but felt somewhat fleeced by the amount they charge for drinks, nearly 5 euros for a small bottle of Heineken. In comparison to other places in town this is steep so my advice would be to eat here, drink somewhere else- not ideal though.

A typical ski town place with a friendly staff and mediocre food. My salad was fresh but uninspired, just tossed together. Good service.

Très bon service, rapide, efficace et la crêpe remplissait bien le ventre.
