Ok, this about today's (April 27, 2024, event at County Market in Chatham, Illinois. They are cooking up sandwich RIBEYES that are almost twice as big as the buns they're are served on! Just look at the picture. I hadn't planned on eating here, but when I saw the signs, I had to try one. There are two items I track down at the State Fair and that's a pork tenderloin sandwich and this one, A Ribeye sandwich. They also include your choice of a NA beverage, chips and condiments and as mine was the first sandwich off the grill, it was hot and cooked the way I love it. I added lettuce, a side of excellent pickle slices and the biggest, ripest slice of tomato I have seen in a long, long time. Then...
Josh badorski at the farmhouse restaurant has a TERRIBLE attitude every single time I see him. He will see you waiting for service to order and continue dodging and ignoring you. I have had to walk away before because he makes you wait so long. I get that he is prepping and other task, but this feels very intentional. Like he knows if he wants long enough you'll go away. Not cool. If he is not happy working good here or with the public, maybe he should find something else to do for work.
People are rude. Cassier's act like they have better things to do than to check you out. They will stand there looking at you, knowing that you are there to check out, doing something on their phone, and making you wait until they get ready. They don't even say anything, not hello, how are you, did you find everything you need. Nothing, just the total and when you tell them that you have a Max card they act like you are imposing. Never anyone at the meat.
Please teach your staff to bag groceries. The girl was pleasant but clearly had no idea how poo bag. She tried putting items on top of bread, frozen items with dry packages that could get damaged by the moisture, she bagged cans with toilet paper. I politely corrected her but you could tell she was not happy about the correction. Do better county market

Although it is convenient for those living in Chatham, the prices are high. I was informed when using the self checkout that you can't put in your to get the sale prices, which doesn't make sense.
Need to keep the deli stocked better, both things I wanted needed cut. The guy in the deli was rude and acted like he didn't want to be bothered.
Great place for shopping. You can find most of what you need. Their fruits and vegetables are always first in quality.
Always clean with friendly staff. Nice selection, yes I paid a little more, but totally worth it.
