Countyline Tavern - Réservation de table

Before Covid, my wife and I visited many times. Loved their Baked French Onion Soup and Fish and Chips. While they were open for take out, we ordered these items and they were good but not like sitting in the restaurant. Now that they are open again and we can sit outside on the patio, we gave it another try. We are Seniors and won’t eat inside in spite of being vaccinated. We ordered our traditional meal described above and were not disappointed. The Fish and Chips are the best we found in the greater Chicago area. Our waiter, Dave, was wonderful. Very polite, personable and attentive. Overall, we had a great experience as we had pre-Covid. We are concerned about the weather getting cooler...

We always enjoy supporting locally owned restaurants and have visited Countyline a few times. We appreciate the nice patio with a fireplace. During our recent visit, we received excellent service and found a great selection of drinks. The only downside was that two out of four of our meals were served lukewarm. However, the issue was promptly resolved and one of our meals was even comped, so it didn't end up being a major problem. We understand that restaurants are currently facing challenges in finding enough staff, so we commend Countyline for acknowledging the issue. We will definitely give them another try in the future.

This was our second visit to the restaurant. We were served by the same server, John, on both occasions. John is truly one of the best servers we have encountered in a long time. He is very genuine, engaging, and knowledgeable. We will definitely request him every time we come back, which will be frequently!

A little disappointed with the service. Didn’t get any bread. I told our server that it was my sons birthday and nothing. Didn’t even wish him a happy birthday. Our servers name was Korel. As I said I was disappointed with the service. I’ll have to think about whether I will return again. Réservez une table maintenant

The food was slightly overcooked, but well seasoned. If it hadn't been overcooked, it would have been perfect. The service was excellent and the cocktails were delicious. I always enjoy the atmosphere at this restaurant.

Brunch on the patio with perfect weather. Build your own **** or Mimosa was a hit and the menu, while small,covered a fantastic brunch. Réservez une table maintenant

My wife’s whitefish was great. My burger, ordered medium, was well done and dry. Just awful.
