On a Thursday evening with three friends, we decided to try the new wine bar after having a great experience at the pub before, and we were not disappointed. The decor is warm and welcoming, and the service was impeccable, thanks to the woman who manages the bar and the kitchen staff who served us. The wine selection was good and reasonably priced. We were offered a choice of six small plates to share for £18, which was an incredible deal with plenty of options. The food was of fantastic quality—very fresh and diverse. This was truly the culinary highlight of our trip and well worth the journey from central London. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even welcoming us in from the rain when we arrived a bit earlier than planned. The ambiance, both inside and outside, was lovely. But most importantly, the food was absolutely delightful! Our Sunday roasts were simply perfect! I wish I lived closer so I could visit more frequently! (If anyone in Chislehurst is looking to hire Americans, please get in touch!)
