I've never written a review before, but I feel compelled to share my experience. I ordered the bacon hamburger and fries, while my friend got the western burger with onion rings. The appearance was decent, but unfortunately, the hamburger tasted nothing like a real burger—it was absolutely disgusting. After just one bite, I almost felt sick. Additionally, one of the fries had a hair in it; I can't believe that even happens! The onion rings were terrible as well. To top it off, the menu advertised the burger for $7.99, but when we arrived, it was actually $11.49. We ended up spending $26, and it was a complete waste. We ordered a Western burger and a bacon burger, along with a side of fries and onion rings. The price online was listed as $8, but when we arrived, the burgers were $13 each, and each side was an additional $5. Once we got home and tried the food, it was terrible. The meat tasted like it had been cooked alongside Asian dishes—it didn't taste like a burger at all. To make matters worse, my friend found a hair in her fries. After just a couple of bites, we couldn't finish the meal. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Now we're still hungry and struggling to get the awful taste out of our mouths.
I have been visiting Cowbobas since they were at their old location on Evans--and things have only gotten better! Friendly, attentive service, reliably cooked and delicious steaks. My mom is the pickiest eater ever and is always satisfied with her meal here, which says a lot! Very interesting decor inside and don't forget to have some boba--where else can you get steak and boba in the same place? Awesome place to bring visitors for a unique experience.
I ordered a 20oz porterhouse steak but was served a flat 14oz steak for $35. Their online menu indicated the price was $22. I can confidently say this was not a 20oz steak; I have years of experience cutting meat as a journeyman, working with fish, poultry, pork, and especially beef. Additionally, I requested my steak to be cooked medium well, but what I received was more like beef jerky. I'm still hungry.

Worst steak I have ever had, everything I ordered was devoid of taste. Over cooked steak, undercooked wantons, bland as hell mash and gravy. No seasoning on the steak, more fat than steak, fat wasn't seared even though it was cooked well done (I ordered it rare). This is petty but even my sprite was flat. How the hell did i just pay $60 for something I wouldn't even pay $10 for. What the actual F.
I wasn't super siked on this place. The prices were extremely high and the food wasn't all that good. When we noticed the steaks were all $30+ we decided to go a cheaper route and grabbed a cheeseburger and som chicken wings with our boba instead, but it was still around $70 when it was all said and done. Food was similar to cafeteria style and didnt taste very good.

We used to live on this side of town and eat here often so I stopped when I was over here visiting a friend. The owners are so nice and the food was just as good as I remember and I very much enjoyed my steak.
