I wanted to try something else for breakfast. It was a 20 minutes waiting at a late Sunday morning my wife and me. Very friendly service and it seemed like the locals knew everyone there. We tried to be some pretty traditional things the first time. I had one of their combos over simple eggs with sausage links, bacon and ham) and it came with the choice of potatoes and either toast or a pancake. I had the pancake that was good, a little gumy, but tasted good. Chef over beat the mix that is typical when you go, but I enjoyed the taste. My eggs, where perfectly cooked. This place is a hidden gem. We stopped for breakfast here on our way to the Kennedy Space Center and our breakfast was delicious. much better than any ihop or cracker barrel. It has been a local business for more than 20 years and I could see that the staff that works there is excellent. Our waitress Nancy treated us wonderfully. Thank you Nancy. We will not hesitate to return when we are in the area again. Totally recommended.
Very friendly staff. Expect a small wait. The food was ok. I had biscuits and gravy and my biscuit was definitely on the side of over baked. The service seemed to be quick around us but ours was extremely slow. The food was hot when we got it, so it wasnt like our food had just been sitting around. I would go back and give it another try. We just came back from a cruise and looked for a place to breakfast before we met the road home. This place was amazing at all levels. Such a friendly environment where employees know most customers with names. I wish I had such a restaurant near me! I'll go back when I'm in the area!
