Looked up vegan places on Happy cow on our trip up north and we decided to have lunch at this place as it was the last vegan restaurant for hundreds of miles north on 101. Absolutely delightful flavors. I had the carne asada burrito, wife had the chipotle chicken sandwich and our daughter the mac cheese. My daughter said it was the best mac cheese she's ever had. She's a vegetarian and still loves regular mac cheese and coming from her it is a big compliment. I loved the sprinkling of quinoa on the dish which gave it character. Had dinner with a few friends here. They had a live band playing outside but it proved a bit harder to talk over the music so we sat inside. The interior is clean but basic. We ordered the loaded nachos for the table, 2 burgers (mushroom Gouda and harvati), green chili cashew bowl and the cozy crunchy. We had no idea that the portions were so HUGE! The nachos are probably the best nachos I’ve ever had (and I eat a lot of nachos). All of the dishes were creamy and rich. Very satisfied bellies walked out after we engulfed all the yummy food. I highly recommend this place. Do bring friends because there’s so much to try!
This is our third visit to the Cozy Plum (both locations! . It is amazing! Everything is so good. I love the squash salad but the burgers and bowls and everything is out of the world delicious. Santa Rosa and Sebastopol locations are worth visiting so make a day of it! Incredible food for vegans and omnivores!
Who says vegan lack flavor? Not at this place, where flavors explode. We had two bowls, Maple Mushroom (flavored with maple, balsamic, rosemary, mixed with cashew crema, jalapeno, pecan) and Green Chile Cashew (tomatillo salsa, sour cream, avo, lettuce, green onions, white beans, spanish rice). Amazing!
We ordered the Mac n Cheese, Tots and the grilled cheese that were all very very tasty. There was also live music on the Friday we visited, making it an all-in-all great experience! Plus, the option to sit outside in their little patio. Totally recommend! Updated from previous review on 2023-07-23
The dishes are amazing. Tasty and fully vegan. Great place to eat vegan if you are in Santa Rosa. I am a well travelled vegan foodie and Cozy Plum is on my top list for dinners every time I am in Santa Rosa. Can’t go wrong with any dishes. Have tried most entrees and they are all great.
