I don't leave reviews often, but this place is special! Food was AMAZING, we orders 3 meat platters with 2 sides for ONLY 22 dollars you get half a chicken, half rack ribs, and 2 slabs of brisket. Amazing flavor and portions are very big! You won't leave feeling empty. The service is what really makes this place stand out! I have never ever experienced better service! Extremely nice people! We pray that God blesses the owners/employees of this establishment! It's a blessing to have this restaurant here in Southwick! I'd rate this place a 10 out of 5 stars!!!!!!
I tried the two meat dinners. rib and sausage, sides of mac cheese, potato salad. the ribs were incredibly soiled, no smoke taste or smoke ring at all applied to them with zero rub or sauce on the ribs. the sausage tasted decent, but again did not seem to be smoked as there was no smoke taste. mac and cheese were bland and creamy. kartoffelsalat was also blanching. it felt like this was bbq that my grandmother had made.
I had the smoked salmon salad with balsamic dressing, and I must say it was one of the best dishes I've tried lately. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. I also really love the owners; they are incredibly nice. I'll definitely be back. This place is a beautiful little hidden gem, with outdoor seating that offers lovely views of a small marina.
