Food was average. Service was ok. We sat along the wall and our drinks were passed to us by other patrons at the bar which I thought was not cool. Person at the bar who I now believe was the owner made some racial remarks about Mexicans Sounded by their conversation) that a customer was asking why he didn't have fish on menu and he said it wasn't cost worthy. That he wasn't like the Mexicans that they can make guacamole if they have leftovers. Made me sick. I definitely will not be going back and giving him my hard earned money .
Traveling through Rome with my husband and some friends and we decided to stop for lunch. I have been trying to watch my carbs so I ordered the stuffed pepper soup and the Romano greens. I did not realize the greens came with bread. I only ate half to keep with my plan but I could have eaten it all because it was good. I never had stuffed pepper soup before and I really enjoyed it. The greens were filing and a little on the spicy side. Very satisfying lunch.
First and last visit. This restaurant should have zero stars. I ordered the king cut prime rib, medium rare. It was 2/3 , over cooked. I tried to send it back but the chef?, manager? said that that meat was medium rare and that was it. He had the audacity to say we were causing a scene. The meat was curled up it was so over cooked. Don't get me started on the garlic mashed potatoes.... Very cold, all 4 servings. $190.00 shot.
First time here. Arrived around 11 am for an early lunch. The dining area is small (8 tables), but beautifully decorated, creating a warm, cozy vibe. Greens and peppers for me, and a haddock fry for my husband. Both were terrific. Total with tax was around $30, which included 2 soda's. Definitely will be going back
