4/19/2024 around 8:30 PM.We went out eat this restaurant for the first time, reading all these positive reviews. Ambiance is okay. Server greet good. We ordered for 2 order of southern fried chicken. The server told me their brown gravy is running out, so no gravy for mash potatoes understandable).so he went into kitchen after We made an order. Server comes back in a minute and tells me that they have last 1 order left for the fried chicken for that night, they have 2 fried chicken breast instead to replace for other. I said ok that’s fine. Then I gave a thought, if that is the last order left probably that is old nasty fried chicken maybe, so doubting it I called the server and asked,” don’...
I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant yesterday while out shopping. The location in Greenville, TX, was excellent, but the one in Sherman didn't meet my expectations. The raw beef was incredibly tough, and the bread was hard as well. I overheard the table behind us sending back two of their dishes, apparently for similar reasons. Everything had an overwhelming fatty taste, which unfortunately made me feel sick after we left. Perhaps it was just an off day for them. I think I'll skip this place during my next visit to Sherman, TX. On a positive note, the gift shop was better than the one in Greenville. I’m giving two stars—one for the staff and one for the gift shop.
My wife and I love to have breakfast at Cracker Barrel in whatever location is near us when we are driving. This time we visited Sherman's. We had one of the most wonderful services in this restaurant. We were told it was going to take some time to bring our food but it did not happen. All dishes came to the table within a reasonable time and were delicious. We want to really acknowlege Collin's attention and service, because he provided an outstanding care and we had a very joyful morning. Thanks for caring for the customers Collin!
This restaurant is inside a western store....We walked in and didn't know it was there. In the back. But there was a hostess she was very nice but I didn't like that they didn't have padded booth only hard tables and chairs. We ordered chicken fried Steak, and mashed potatoes, fried okra, steamed broccoli, and dinner salad. Everything was great! The chicken fried was big, taste like real meat. A reasonable price. We had one sweet, one unsweetened. The waitress was helpful, kind, smiled. We highly recommend this restaurant. Réservez une table maintenant
Cracker Barrel is our go to breakfast place, we always get the Old Timers breakfast and it never disappoints...except this time. Every thing was great but the gravy does not come with it any more. The waiter was very kind and brought us some any way. I even talked to the manager about it and she also was very understanding. I understand it is hard times and restaurants have to cut corners where they can to stay in business, still having that side of biscuits and gravy is one of the best parts of meal.
What can I say we're here for Thanksgiving and our plate met everything we ever wanted. We have ordered a few additional pages just because we are used for some crackers barrels of food. We even ordered two Entrees extra for the evening when we got more Thanksgiving dinner guests. It was packed, but our service was great. Our dinner including pumpkin cake for dessert
The food was great and the service was good, but the woman who checked us in was quite rude. She definitely needs some customer service training. If she doesn't like bikers, she should keep that to herself! We were there for dinner, and sometimes it’s better to simply say thank you.
