Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Walked into the restaurant, which smelled of urine and musty. Both men and women’s bathroom were filthy and smelled of urine. Service was extremely slow for an almost empty restaurant. Server more interested in hanging out in the back. Took at least 15 minutes for server to return to take our order. After telling server twice, never received appetizer cheese bites till meal was finished. Another server brought them out, stating she saw them sitting in the window. Told server to take them back since we are already finished eating. We've eaten here 3 times in the last 2 months after sporting events at the HS every time has been trying. They are out of certain foods what they have is dry,over cooked, salad is the core of the lettuce head,out of cron muffins, Mac cheese so dry it was unbeatable. Probably our last time here. This is an updated review from 2 months ago. In August 2023 it was great. I believe they've had a change in management. I don't see see the lady manager that that was so good anymore.

I tried to call my order in phone rang for 5 minutes before I gave up. Upon arrival I asked why the phone was not working because they were not busy no waiting line all they could do was blame someone else even though both people up front just standing there doing nothing. Also my to go order had no utensils so I guess they think we should eat with our hands then.I will not return after this Service: Take out
