Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

we called ahead and asked if the day was too early to park at the RV site, and the lady said no to let the administration know that we stay overnight when we get there. we arrived at 2 o'clock and notice that the residential parking space for our 30ft trailer and lkw was short so we parked it on a series of parking spaces. the registerdame said it was good and she would let the management know. we wanted to order, but the host said there were only two waiters and it would be easier to order online. so we decided to see the monocacy national park in our extra vehicle. parking: there are about 8 RV parking spaces.

Bottom line, sadly, neither myself husband nor parents will be returning again to ANY Cracker Barrel, last try AGAIN very disappointing. Healthy food choices no longer available, such as oatmeal, “real” fresh berries, fish that’s NOT fried, etc. Peaches were mostly syrup. Believe it or not, there are still many Americans who choose to eat as healthy as possible; not participate in obesity epidemic; and, there are many other restaurants out there who feel the same support this effort.

Ordered the Meatloaf with sides of fried apples, broccoli and fried okra.. Healthy sized portions!!! Really enjoyed this. Country fried steak another of my favorites from this family restaurant.

I love Cracker Barrels fried chicken, beignets, roast beef, fried fish, and chicken pot pie. Those are my go-tos, and theyre always satisfying and delicious.
