Let 's jump right in to this... First experience at any Cracker Barrel ever, and I will never be back. Waited over an hour for food, and when I asked our waitress how much longer she told me another 15 mins. I then asked could my son who was very restless have his order fruity pebbles) cereal. That took about 10 minutes. We asked when she brought our food for utensils didn 't have spoon for cereal)... that took 5 minutes, I got up and asked another waiter. After my son was done our food came. I ordered French toast with two poached eggs. I 'm sorry no picture, as I took one bite of the toast and pushed it aside. It was bread that was fried... no taste and the eggs were over cooked and had shell in it they were over cooked and rubbery). My husband had chicken and fries, It was terrible. While people who arrived later got their food and we sat there, no one refilled our drinks or told us what the wait was. Also, while sitting I am not sure if there was a new wait staff person but treys where dropped twice. That I was not concerned with... but just added to the experience.

You almost can 't go through a town without seeing a Cracker Barrel. At some point in your life you can pull over pull in and sit down and see what it 's all about. That 's what I 'm doing today. The food isn 't something that you write home about, but the experience with all the decor and sweet servers is probably what you are really here for. Its about on par with an IHOP, Denny 's, or Jim 's in terms of quality. My biscuits were fluffy but flavorless, as was the gravy, and the ham was so salty that it was almost inedible. Eggs were eggs, but my over medium was more like over easy with clear whites slipping out onto the plate and jiggling when my husband cut his pancakes. His pecan pancakes and bacon were burnt, which was less than favorable. The hashbrown casserole was tasty, though. Our server Jamie was super sweet and her demeanor was exactly what one hopes to get at a place like this. She is the source of the third star, otherwise I 'd give 2 stars.

What can I say it is Cracker Barrel. Same as all the others. Food pretty good. Easy to get to from freeway. And better than fast food or dennys. I like Mommas. And get eggs bacon and pecan pancakes. Slightly noisy. It feels like a dennys or ihop with an American pulse. Nothing special but worth a stop on your journeys. Service was great!!

on the phone in an order for the Sunday Special and came in 15 minutes. they were paid and paid, then they were informed that they were from the special. that was at 4 o'clock. that happened more than once in cracker barrel. the going out of dinner specials before dinner makes no sense. Why?
