Being an African-American from Chicago, I feel that Cracker Barrel is hit or miss when it comes to their service. Mostly in the South, I have figured out that the service is based on the region. I recently dined in Spanish Fort, Alabama. When our server arrived, I felt as if I was back in the early 60s when she greeted our table. She was rude for no reason. Short with her conversation and very snappy with her responses. My wife and I ordered our entrees. When our food finally arrived, it was room temperature, and it appeared old, not fresh. I asked our waitress for the side cornbread that came with our meals. She rolled her eyes and stormed back into the kitchen. I could overhear her arguing...
I placed an order online. Website stated that order would be ready at 10:35. I arrived at 10:40 to no order I sight.... I had someone to check on it and she never returned. waited 20 minutes and had someone check again. She stated that the kitchen was behind. Waited another 20 minutes was told that they did not have the blueberry pancakes....smh Now, it 's been AN HOUR AND NO SIGN OF FOOD!!!! I stayed because I didn 't get an email confirmation as usual. Order comes out at 12:00!!!! With regular pancakes and same charges. No adjustments due to change in order....nothing Had to speak with manager and they still could not refund because receipt with pricing was not generated.... And I didn 't...
30 minute wait while 75% of the tables sat empty and multiple staff were just standing around. Finally seated, 15 minutes to get drink orders taken. Mocha machine not working. Not my first time at this cracker barrel... Only really came here because other options were limited, because I'm aware of how mismanaged this establishment is. It's a shame really, all my life cracker barrel was this rare treat and we always had fantastic experiences... Until I moved next to this one and have repeatedly had terrible experiences. This is the last time. I'll drive to Denny's or Bob Evans next time. It's a much longer drive, but at least I can enjoy a meal without the frustrations this branch always caus...
Was just hungry...we ate it not just because we bought it. Hungry is the word... I've definitely have had better... HUNGRY.. Carry Out order was missing things to far to return..Tried to check oder before leaving but still missing stuff. We good!!! Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
