Our waitress was apparently fired after taking our order, so had two other people finish waiting on us. It was between 7-8:00 pm when we arrived, so not a lot of customers were dining at that time, but we had no attention from our 3 waitresses/waiter. We did share with the waiter the strange something in the macaroni and cheese, that clearly did not belong there. He apologized and admitted that he didn't know what it was either then took the item back to the chef. Obviously, we did not want a replacement of the same item, but neither did we get any kind of credit. We also asked for a take home box to use for green beans that we didn't eat to give to our dog, ended up getting it ourselves bec...
This place has always been fantastic! The food is delicious and consistently served quickly. The staff is incredibly friendly. Our waitress was especially nice, and the ladies at the front were just as welcoming. They made sure to inform us about the specials and were always ready to assist. There’s never a long wait, and when there is a rare opportunity to wait, the atmosphere and service make it easy to forget the time. The manager also makes a point to check in and see how everything is going, and we've never had any complaints. We dine here often and would definitely recommend it if you're passing through or looking for a great place to eat.
I love this place. Reminds me of my grandma, me and my family come here on special events. And I just bought my mom's birthday gift, she loves Christmas stuff so if you're into that kind of thing you can find great Christmas decor there. I got my mom a red lantern that had a small little church in it with red on it and Cardinals and snow inside. You can say I got her the best gift because of Cracker Barrel.
On Friday, April 2022, at 2:36 PM, I had a great experience with the service and the food was delicious. However, the orange juice tasted terrible; it didn’t seem natural at all. The biggest issue was the ladies' restroom—oh my goodness, the smell was awful and the floors were sticky. I really think they need to pay more attention to the cleanliness of this place. I was craving some hot, creamy comfort food, but what I got was a cold, casual dish served in a small bowl. My eggs and sausages were barely warm. Nothing we ordered was satisfactory. I won’t be returning to this place. They should reconsider their business if their chefs can’t cook. That sums it up.
The menu is Down Home . The service is good. I 've tried Chicken Fried Steak, Catfish, and both are really good. Sides are often what you don 't see on any other menus. The gift shop is pricey but that 's to be expected but interesting to look around and I often find unusual items.
