The waitress kept making excuses but did manage to bring us some appealing tomatoes. Unfortunately, I found a hair in my apples, which she claimed was an "egg hair" that was about a foot long. The eggs weren’t cooked properly either; I ordered mine over medium and my son's were over easy. The whites were extremely runny, and I had chunks of it on my plate, which completely ruined my appetite. I’m tired of explaining why I can’t eat the food, especially since I keep getting excuses instead of solutions. This isn’t the experience I expected, especially since I brought my son here to celebrate before he embarks on his new job as an over-the-road truck driver.
I was really disappointed in Cracker Barrel today. I have enjoyed the country fried steak for years, even bringing my family here for my birthday. That is coming to an end. The corporate office felt the need to change suppliers. The food was terrible. The country fried steak could be used for a hockey puck. The hash brown casserole had no taste. The restaurant was not clean. The waitress had on an apron that had not been washed in a month.
I loved, loved loved it. I love eating at Cracker Barrel in general wherever I go. Good service. I had a burger and fries. They were good. My girlfriend she had the stuffed strawberry cheesecake pancakes. She let me try it and wow were they ever good. She's had those pancakes at Cracker Barrel 2 or 3 times since then. I'm getting the Stupid Strawberry Cheesecake Pancakes next trip to Cracker Barrel. Yum!!
My wife and I really enjoy stopping at Cracker Barrel when traveling. As you know, most restaurants have difficulty in hiring a full staff. Some then have issues with quality and consistency. This one had excellent quality, service and consistency. Our server was excellent. Her name was Virginia, working in Georgia and going to school in Tennessee. Can't get better than that. Stop at this one!

This Cracker Barrel had a very clean atmosphere. Our waitress, Virginia, was super sweet kept our drinks full. Our food was good fresh. She brought us plenty of biscuits. While we waited on our food the kids played some checkers. My favorite is always the gift shop. Too much to choose from!!
My husband decided he wanted chicken and I did too! We love playing the table game ... that we never win !!! Also we like to be by the fireplace. After we eat we like to shop i bought this beautiful warm white fur throw old fashioned hard candy that is our favorite bedside snack.

The last two times have been horrible. The service and food!!! Orders were wrong and food tasted old. Cracker Barrel is not what it used to be. Very disappointed.

Lindsey, my waitress, was excellent. I ordered chicken dumplings, but there was barely the equivalent of one chicken finger's worth of chicken in my dish.
Perfect place for American breakfast while traveling northwards from Atlanta. Fried chicken tasted great, so did the fried apples on the side!
