Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Our service was terrible. We went to Cracker Barrel off of Merchants. We were seated right away but after our order was taken we waited 37 min before we got our food. They were out of turkey which was not a big deal but my husband loves it. I ordered a vegetable plate and he ordered chicken and dumplings. My turnip greens were spoiled I swear. I also got dumplings as a veggie and both his and mine were terrible. We have been going here for years and years. Our worst experience by far. We were seated where we could see straight into the kitchen and cook see a female cook struggling to keep up but our waitress was less than good. Finally we saw two managers back there making plates. I don’t eat out often and it had been awhile since I had eaten here. Staff and atmosphere in the restaurant were great. Food was okay but not anything like what I remember and really not worth it to me. I don’t even blame the kitchen staff. I think it’s just the direction they’ve gone with how they prepare things. Probably won’t return unless it’s the only thing available. Again, great staff and service. The quality of food just wasn’t there. I’ll probably give IHOP a shot next time.

Order was wrong, 3 items that I paid for was not included. Food was cold not good at all. We've always had great food service which is why we went bk. I tried calling twice to let them know about items we didn't receive but no one answered.
