Considering I was unable to go home for the actual Thanksgiving day (I opted for Christmas and couldn 't take off both), this was a perfect replacement meal. All my friends were with their families and my family lives down in Southern MS, so it was just me. For a split second, I was feeling sorry for myself for being alone on Thanksgiving and then Tamesha came and waited on me. Here she was having to work on Thanksgiving. Whether because they needed the staff or she needed the overtime, I don 't know, but she wasn 't with family, either. I want to emphasize that I don't think the management is responsible for the poor quality of the food. They attempted to rectify the situation. However, I've noticed that Cracker Barrel's quality has declined over the past few years. That said, I'm pretty certain this will be my last visit to a Cracker Barrel until they make some changes and work towards returning to the standards they once had. The steak was not at all what I expected; it looked more like something I'd feed my dog. It was meant to be a steak breakfast, but you can see from my pictures whether you find it appetizing.
My family was traveling all day and wanted a good meal to eat for dinner at our hotel. We ordered curbside and 40 minutes after the order was supposed to be ready, we went inside to check on our order only to find that our food was just sitting there. Got back to the hotel to find we were missing a salad, didn’t get any butter requested for biscuits and cornbread, food wasn't even warm. Tried calling the store to talk to a manager and sat on hold for no one to answer. Poor customer service we won’t be coming back to this location.
After a long 10-hour drive, we decided to stop and try this restaurant. I ordered the hamburger steak, but it was so tough that I could only eat about half of it. I also requested gravy with mushrooms and onions, but there were no mushrooms and hardly any gravy at all. The mashed potatoes were cold and dry. We were really tired, so we ended up just eating the loaded steak fries and fried pickles. Surprisingly, those appetizers were much better than our main dishes. Réservez une table maintenant
This is the classic southern restaurant! I didn't know why it was so busy until I was there. I chose the southern fried chicken and it was very good, far from any secret recipe, I just felt at home, there's the secret, it's a busy place but their staff is always ready with a smile to help you. Don't forget to take the time to buy a souvenir in their store, there are some very nice items. See you soon!
Not all Cracker Barrels are the same. This one rocks. We tipped our awesome waitress, but give these people a raise! Friendly staff all around, great food made just right, and we left without having to take out a second mortgage. Thank you, Pelham Cracker Barrel for reminding me what a decent meal looks like from a roadside restaurant.
We love this Cracker Barrel location. Food and service is almost always 5 stars. We went for brunch so it wasn't too busy. We didn't have to wait more than 2 minutes to be seated. Bathrooms were clean and tidy. The store had a lot of nice Christmas items marked down 90% off! Everyone was very friendly even the other customers.
First of all, the service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and took care of all of his customers. The food was good but not hot. My egg sandwich and hash brown side dish was cold. I’m not really picky and it tasted good. I would go back. Réservez une table maintenant
