Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The food is okay. It is a place where a lot of elders go. Some of the other customers made my family , and I uncomfortable due to us being an interacial family. One older lady was giving my husband the death stare while I was in the restroom. When he spoke she asked for a to go coffee and plate , and then she gathered her belongings and left.

The parking lot was completely blocked off there were no clues as to where the alternative entrance was ,the Restaurant was almost empty but we stood at the hostess podium for 10 min before we went and found somebody to go get someone to seat us

I understand the desire for speed BUT you should NEVER serve RAW MEAT, especially pork!!! The bacon, ham and sausage was undercooked, this RUINED what would have been a great breakfast.

Chicken and dumplings were dry and flavorless. Pinto beans were also dry and thick. Mashed potatoes were flavorless as well.
