Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

One of the main reasons I visit Cracker Barrel is to pick up packages of bacon for the brunches I host at home. Their bacon offers the best value for your money. These two-pound packages are reasonably priced, and when cooked correctly, they're absolutely delicious. I personally prefer my bacon crispy, so I bake it in the oven at 425 degrees, placing it flat on a bacon rack that I got from Target, in a disposable aluminum baking sheet from Stop & Shop. I bake the bacon until it’s crispy on both sides. If you're a fan of crispy bacon, this method is a surefire winner.

The staff was welcoming and friendly, and the restaurant was spotless. We received our service quickly, and the food was served hot and fresh. I had the chicken pancake along with a biscuit and a corn muffin, and there were plenty of chicken options available. The prices were fantastic—just $15 including tip for a delicious lunch for two (we only had water). We will definitely be back!

The atmosphere was fantastic and the staff were wonderful, but unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations. I ordered the chicken and dumplings, and it was quite unappetizing. The french fries were overly seasoned, and the appetizers tasted like they came straight from the frozen food section.

I've visited this restaurant several times, and I must say it has always been a pleasant experience. The service is consistently excellent, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is friendly. I highly recommend trying this place out!
