We placed a pickup order at 7:54 a.m. and were told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I arrived at the restaurant at 8:20 a.m. and had to ask about my order at least three times before the hostess finally went back to check on it. I noticed two other customers cancel their orders and leave while I waited.
At 8:47 a.m., the hostess brought my order, explaining that the takeout server was overwhelmed with six orders. However, when I got to my hotel room, I discovered we were missing a side of bacon. Extremely Slow Service! They told us it would be a 10-minute wait, but we ended up waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes! When we inquired, the person at the entrance explained that no one showed up for work in the kitchen and later mentioned another issue was causing delays. I observed the staff being rude to customers who were growing increasingly impatient due to the long waits. Many tables remained unoccupied for extended periods. It was an average restaurant, quite busy and like many places these days, it seemed a bit short on staff. Despite that, they managed to seat us quickly. The server was friendly and apologetic, but I reassured her that there was no need to apologize; we all understand how things are right now. The food was tasty, although some portions were rather small. The biggest disappointment was that the turkey sausage was substituted with chicken sausage, which tasted too much like a hot dog with excessive black pepper. Overall, it was a good experience.
We usually stop at a Cracker Barrel when we're in town for dinner. We ordered the meatloaf, steak fries, dumplings, and a salad. My wife ordered pancakes. The meatloaf was thicker than what I'm used to at other places, but I didn't mind it. The fries were standard. Unfortunately, the dumplings were dry, and I couldn't eat them. They also charged me extra for the salad, which was a surprise. Overall, we both had average meals.

Oneka was our server and what a privilege it was to sit in Onekas section. Oneka was the absolute best server we have ever experienced in our lives. Oneka was so gracious and humble and made sure everything was about the customer. We still talk about them and you can know what you have in your restaurant!
I went there on a Friday night with my son the food was good served warm and fresh . The server was nice and the girl working in the country store was great . We will be back.

We LOVE the breakfast at Cracker Barrel!! The pancakes just melt in your mouth and the hashbrown casserole gives me life!!! We always get great customer service!!
