I 'm sure I 'm far from the first person to get lured into trying this place because of that heavenly looking rebel within pastry. It had a rich, fluffy cheddar biscuit consistency, and the molten egg definitely elevates it; I 'd happily eat again, and usijg my imagination, it probably wouldn 't be as good if you get it to-go. Apart from that, there were several other amazing-looking baked goods and a drink menu that could stand up to a coffee shop. My basic oat milk latte was coffee shop quality. The banana coconut bread was super moist and had a nice crunch from coconut. Servers are super nice/cool, too. It 's a good-sized place with sitting room inside (I don 't think there 's WiFi), but...
We ordered a chocolate croissant, an oolong French pastry, an iced mocha, and a black tonic. While the pastries were decent, I didn't think they were worth the price—if I remember correctly, the one shown below was $14. Unfortunately, the drinks were disappointing. Overall, the food looked beautiful, but I personally wouldn't return, although I didn't try their most famous pastry, the Rebel Within.
I have to say, it's quite challenging to impress me, but Craftsman and Wolves Valencia went above and beyond my expectations! I needed to order several dozen cookies to be delivered in a gift box with a note card, and they delivered perfectly! They arrived on time, even before the holiday! I'm confident that everyone will enjoy the cookies. Thank you for being so amazing! I rate you 10/10!
Had the muffin with the egg inside (rebel within) and it was really good, would definitely recommend trying it out. Also bought the egg salad sandwich and it didn’t taste that great though. Line system was confusing, and not too many seats inside either. Didn’t try the coffee because of other reviews and because I’ve only heard people talk about their pastries and bakery items. Be sure to order the Rebel Within, which is perfectly warmed and oozes deliciousness with its savory muffin. I also tried their croissant stuffed with ham and covered in pistachio. It was a good croissant, but I think it's better to choose either a fully savory or fully sweet option. As for the dulce de leche latte, it's quite sweet!
Tucked away on Valencia Street, this delightful cafe is a wonderful find. Despite its small kitchen not allowing for custom orders, the inviting atmosphere and overall charm more than compensate for it. It's a perfect place to savor a pastry and soak up the vibrant vibe of Valencia Street.
The highlight for us was the Rebel Within pastry, and it did not disappoint; it was delicious. The latte was also great—I'm quite particular about my lattes, and this one was to my liking. We also sampled the bread pudding and a chocolate croissant, both of which were fresh and tasty.
