I passed 2 crafty crabs to come to the Bowie location thinking I would have a better experience. To start, we sat down and ants were on the table. No big deal..we got moved to another table. We sat and waited 15 minutes before “Day” came over. We placed our orders which took forever. While we waited we overheard another server go over the specials for Mother’s Day which was also my birthday). We requested our server again and asked her about it. She goes “oh yeah” then proceeds to tell us the specials. We update our order and waited again. Parts of our order was missing and she admitted she forgot to ring it in. This is my guy, I mean a really good dude, fair, and has exceptional customer service, he always takes care me and my family whenever we order. I rarely post reviews, but I have to say that I had no expectations when I visited this restaurant. However, after my experience, I'm definitely planning to return. The variety of flavor options is impressive, and everything comes in a steamed bag, ensuring that it’s hot and ready to eat. I did end up with a few scrapes from the hard shells of the seafood, but it was worth it. The taste was spot on, though I could have used a mallet to make it easier; unfortunately, none were available, which led to a few minor cuts on my fingers. While the decor leaves something to be desired and it's not a fancy place, the flavors, music, and overall experience were fantastic. I’ll be back for more!
I usually love this place but the quality is getting worse and worse. It's Sun. and a quiet slow evening and I place an order. I waited long after the time they said my order would be ready. When I arrive I'm told I still have to wait. I do, and when I check my food it's cold. Not even warm but completely cold, like it had been sitting out for 10-15 min. So what was the wait for? Omg! 2nd time there! So good! If you like seafood. It's like, yum, yum! Thought I was the only one knowing about this place. But low and behold; told a friend, and she was like, get the Large Brown Garlic Sauce $5, the Crafty Crab Mix, or Orange Creamy Mix Free! Either way, they all good. But those the best ones. Either way, try something. You will not be disappointed. Now I have s second option from regular crab. This the boil in a bag mix w 2lb Snow Crab and 1lb Shrimp
It was fantastic! It exceeded my expectations! We visited on a Thursday evening during happy hour, and it wasn't too crowded. The happy hour drinks range from $5 to $10, and they're definitely worth trying! The seafood was served steaming hot and packed with flavor! Two of us shared the small seafood platter and still had some leftovers. While the fire seasoning isn't very spicy, the boom seasoning is outstanding!
Crafty Crab Bowie had some delicious appetizers, including cheese sticks and chicken wings. The main dishes were fantastic as well—catfish, shrimp, and crab legs, all served hot. The drinks were also excellent, and our server provided outstanding service. We will definitely return!
My server, Angie, was fantastic and incredibly attentive. As soon as I sat down, I was met with exceptional customer service. My order came out quickly and was piping hot. I'm leaving with a full stomach and a big smile on my face! Mission accomplished!

We had a lovely family seafood dinner. The gumbo was mostly rice, but the seafood, sausage, and corn were delicious. I'm a bit puzzled about the boiled egg that was included in the bag, though.
The shrimp and fish were tasteless. I requested that both be fried hard, neither was fried hard. I will not order from them again
