Crafty Rooster bar & grill

We sat at the bar, and at first seemed like it was going to be great. Then our bartenders had more interest in talking to each other, and the other servers than they were in helping customers at the bar. When we finally got our bill it was $56 and the itemized bill was correct. So I gave my credit card and she ran it then my bill was now $66 because an additional charge of $10 was added from receiving my initial bill to when she ran my card. The charge said $10 founders which was not our charge. Seemed very shady that after giving her my credit card that is when an extra charge was added to the bill. We came here a few weeks ago for date night for the first time. We absolutely loved it! The food was amazing, as was the atmosphere. Our server, Haley, was phenomenal. One of the best I’ve had in Horry county. We’re gonna make this our spot for date nights from now on and will be requesting the same young lady whenever she’s available. I’ve been a Food Beverage Manager for over 20 years and was extremely impressed with the whole experience.

A great local spot. Our server was very nice. Has a home town bar feel. The were many locals coming in that seemed to know each other, including some local police. We enjoyed the food, they give you generous portion. The chicken Mac and cheese is great. As nice place to relax in the small historic town of Conway.

1st time eating here, but Definitely NOT the Last!!! Food was Excellent, good prices, cool chill atmosphere and Great Service!!! My wife has gluten issues and they were super accommodating!! Burger was raw they wouldn’t take my husband ID and wouldn’t tell us why bartender should’ve approached us and said why instead of the waiter saying it was because it was “bent” when it’s not? Was a lousy excuse. Anyways here’s how straight the ID was. Not coming back.

Sit yourself, after that even if you sit at the bar you'll be at the mercy of whoever is working. After 8 you better only be here for beers or you'll be waiting. Even for you'll check you'll wait a while.

Being keto I can’t eat grits but the waitress said how about a small taste? I was born in SC and couldn’t turn it down. Best grits I’ve had in decades.
