What a great stop along the highway in Palmyra, Ontario. A very pleasant gift shop with a restaurant upstairs. We had a lunch consisting of Chicken soup, scones, chicken salad sandwich and butter tart. Everything was very tasty and we will definitely be back again. Pleasant gardens surrounding this unique shaped structure. There are not a lot of places to stop along the Talbot highway #3 in this area. Even if you want to go in and just pick up a onsite made fruit pie to go, it is worth the stop. Also to mention that the washrooms were clean.

My hubby and I were in the Leamington area and went for a drive for the heck of it. We ended up at the Crazy Eight Barn and stopped in to see what we could see. We went upstairs and found they had a wonderful little restaurant area, so we made sure to have a salad for lunch. Homemade berry vinaigrette was lovely.Lots of knick knacks to browse through, making it a nice way to waste some time.

This is listed as a restaurant. I would classify this as a light lunch location in a craft shop environment. This is not a negative since the food offered is made locally and quite good (only limited in choice). The staff is friendly and helpful. There are beautiful gardens outside. If you are back-roading in this area, I highly recommend that you stop for a visit whether hungry or not.

Limited menu but great food. Three kinds of sandwiches, one soup, two kinds of salad. The sandwiches were made with fresh bread and were very generous. Loved their home made soup. Very friendly staff.Quaint historic building with an enjoyable garden.Next time we're in the area we'll probably stop in for ice cream and pie. Réservez une table maintenant

This is a great spot, sandwiches made with fresh bread and warm fresh pie for dessert. There is a lot to see in the shop downstairs and upstairs as well. The staff are cheerful and relaxed which made this a great stop to get in from the heat and write in our journals. The coffee is worth a second cup.

We were doing a Provincial Park road trip and stopped in here because it looked interesting. It was. Lots of neat gift ideas, especially for the cottage. All kinds of different foods to buy. We loved the local ice cream and the butter tarts, as...More

Cute gift and restaurant stop on lovely Talbots's Trail(hyw#3). Circular building with winding staircase to the restaurant part and more gift items. Bathrooms on main floor. Simple menus, ice cream, treats, drinks.

What a delightful shop to discover on our leisurely Sunday drive. Didn't know what to expect inside, but was very thrilled after opening the doors. Glad we stopped to discover this little gem. Réservez une table maintenant

Very unique and nice to visit. Food is good but I found the chicken salad a little bland. Great homemade bread!
