We go here for breakfast every few Saturdays, and have had dinner a handful of times. Breakfast is one of (if not the) best in the AV. Everything is delicious, especially the hash browns! Portions are large. The iced coffee is great, but be advised that it does not come with free refills like most other places (regular coffee does). The staff is very nice and the décor is interesting to look at. We always have enough left over for breakfast the next day.
The new redesign looks fantastic, and the Ring of Fire burger is one of the best I've ever tasted. The sweet tea transported me right back to the South—it’s the best I’ve had on the West Coast. Joe and his family have done an incredible job enhancing not only the building but also the menu.
I had the ribeye for lunch today, and it was incredibly juicy and flavorful—hands down the best steak I've ever had! No exaggeration! My wife also enjoyed her club sandwich. Thank you, J's, for the excellent service!

The hash browns were excellent, and the burrito was enormous, like a pillow! I highly recommend this place. The server was fantastic, and the food was delicious!
Second time we’ve eaten here and enjoyed it both times. Food was great. Home-cooking just like moms. Service was great too. We will be making this place a habit.
