I was craving a good sancocho for a while. I've gone to other places but it's always overly salty. I came to Crazy Pollo and OMG!! ???? Their sancocho was amazing!! Perfectly seasoned, the flavors were phenomenal. I was definitely pleased. My boyfriend had their ox tails and the flavor on them were beyond words. Their tostones were perfectly fried, not overly greasy, and I dipped them into el caldito from the ox tails and that just added to how good they were. Reminded me of how my mom would make me ox tails and sancocho. I 100% recommend coming here when you're looking for some really good food that reminds you of home.
This restaurant is open late, maintains a clean atmosphere, and has an exceptional staff. The prices are fair, and there's no pressure to leave a tip. The food is remarkable, and the team is fluent in both English and Spanish. While the restaurant hasn't changed much, it has actually seen improvements. As of 2023, it still stands out as the best in its category.
Please review your bill carefully; they charge different prices than what is listed on the menu and it appeared that they doubled the tax. For example, the sorullos were advertised at $1 each, but I was charged $3.06 for three. In total, my bill ended up being over $27 after everything I ordered.
The restaurant offers a wide variety of menu options. I ordered the grilled chicken, which came with delicious sides and a unique flavor profile that really impressed me. Everything was fantastic, and the dish had a special touch with its spices. Overall, it was a great dining experience!

The food was exceptional and fairly priced, and our server, Maybely, was warm, courteous, and attentive. Even though we’re not locals, this restaurant came highly recommended to us. We will definitely return the next time we’re in town.
Definitely one of my favorite local Latino restaurants.. The food is delicious and the Lady owner/ waitress/cashier is amazing. She handled that place like no one ?? We will always go and enjoy the phenomenal food?
The customer service was wonderful, and the menu offered a variety of interesting dishes. However, the huh and ribeye steak were dry and overcooked. I wouldn’t recommend dining here.
The mashed plantains were outstanding. They were made fresh to order, and I couldn't have been happier with them.
