Visiting friends living in France, went for lunch, because it was recommended as high rating place for Galettes and Crepes. The service was very good. All servers took care of our table, bringing food and clearing out. But the Galettes were super thin and very dry. They had good flavor with filling ingredients well prepared. Prices for the food were reasonable for the cocktails were not. You only realize when you see the amount served, which is very little for what you pay. Four adults lunch including cocktails, Galletes, Crepes (desserts), 1 bottle of cider and 1 espresso was 128.95 EUR. The Inside space is small and tables are crowded. The terrace is better, if it doesn't rain, which in Brittany, it oftens does. We will try other places for Galletes Crepes. There are many.
We visited again tonight after a year. The view over the ocean is breathtaking and the service is standard but pleasant. And that is what you over pay for. However we shall not return for the quality of the food. The galette was overcooked with basic ingredients. The sweet crepes were average and the digestives dated. Such a disappointment for a great location.
I went to Creperie de la Source with my family and we all had an amazing time! The splendid view was only topped by the delicious food and friendly service, from the appetizers to the mouth dropping deserts. I would definitely and already have recommend the experience! And if you feel like something sweet, La Craquante is the way to go! Top class :
We parked in the street about 100m away. Went here for a drink and decided to have crepes! They were delicious, although our waitress did say when we ordered, 'I thought you just wanted a drink ' ! Must be lost in the translation! The views are amazing worth a visit. Not the cheapest around but next to the sea and when in France seems rude not to!
