Wanted to try this restaurant and so glad we did. We were staying nearby and the smells coming from the place as we walked towards it were great. Had jerk chicken whilst wife had the curry goat. Both were superbly cooked and we thought the...portions were generous with both coming with rice n peas and plantain. Meal was washed down with Stag lager, a glass of rum and a cocktail. Service was excellent and all staff very friendly. Shame that the restaurant was quiet as it deserves to be packed but not surprising given the time of year. Went to Cribbs as a family of My husband had curried lamb and said it was very tender and good flavour. Myself and one family member had the jerk chicken breast, which my husband said was too spicy for him when he tasted mine...but he does not like spicy food. For us it was perfect but if you don't like your food too spicy then it won't be for you. Other member of the family had a vegetarian broth which they said was very nice. It was all very tasty Caribbean food and service was very good too.
Wife had the Goat Curry and was delighted when she was offered more plantain (not many people enjoy it as they expect the sweet banana) I was truly happy with my choice of Monkfish and scallops (and Guinness) The evening was bliss we were in...food heaven. It was very authentic food. (We spent years in the Caribbean, so yes absolutely As far as covid goes, we felt very safe. Thanks for a memorable evening.
Cribbs never fails to disappoint whether lunch or dinner all the meals are packed full of flavour, and presented beautifully! I had the ackee and salt fish, which was delicious, perfect amount of spice and amazing fresh flavours. John is an excellent chef and...always has a smile on his face to greet you Staff were very friendly and attentive. Lovely vibe in cribbs and no doubt I’ll be back very soon!

A rare opportunity for me and the Mrs found us at Cribbs to get away for an evening. Not knowing what we wanted to eat we opted for Carribean and really glad we did. Waiting staff and feel was lovely and the food was excellent....Well worth a visit.
We had a great evening catching up with friends. Enjoying some great Caribbean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Caribbean Crab and Fishcakes were good
Amazing menu with plenty of choice. Quality ingredients and well executed meals. I had the goat curry off the specials board which was delicious.
Had a lovely meal here. I had the saltfish full of flavour and wife had the monkfish with scallops lovely food and atmosphere would recommend.
