Get ready to be transported back in time to when fast food was good! The service was fantastic and very friendly. I was a newbie so the clearly stated and well-lit menu made it easy to figure out the lingo and the different combinations. My 89-year-old father told me to come here for his dinner that night so I knew I was in for a treat. Everything was perfect! My dad had 2 long dogs loaded and I had a burger, both were absolutely delicious. To make things even better we both got chocolate shakes. Very creamy and thick, outstanding! It wasn't a busy night and the food was fresh. The buns were extra soft and the fries were hot. That meal was cooked for us and it wasn't just sitting on a warmer...
I haven't been back to Connecticut in 15 years, but my mom in Arizona had one request for me: to bring home six Cricket hot dogs as a thank-you for babysitting my two furry friends. If I didn't, she jokingly said I couldn't come home! Cricket not only wrapped the hot dogs with all the fixings, but they also double-wrapped them for extra care. The next day, I placed the hot dogs in a ziplock bag and checked my luggage without any issues from TSA. However, the real story began when I returned to Phoenix. My mom devoured those hot dogs in just two days! Thank you, Cricket. I'll definitely be back!
I visited this restaurant for the first time today and had a great experience! I placed my order online and just a few minutes later, I drove up to pick up my food. The staff was friendly, and my order was ready in under five minutes. Everything was hot and delicious! I tried a hot dog loaded with toppings and loved the toasted New England bun. I also had a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and ketchup, which was incredibly juicy and flavorful. I believe they use Pat LaFrieda Wholesale Meat Purveyors for their meat. I will definitely return to try more items on the menu!
Favorite lunch stop when I was in town for work. Flavorful burgers, good hot dogs, and excellent shakes. I typically got a double cheeseburger, onion rings, and a large shake which ran me a little over $20. I could’ve done without the shake if I’d been paying for it myself which would’ve brought it closer to $15, but I always splurge when work is paying. Réservez une table maintenant
Best burgers, hot dogs and fries!! We ordered a chili dog, a hamburger and a cheeseburger and all were delicious. The fries are amazing too.. just enough crunch and not greasy. I will be back here for sure to try their shakes! Service was fast and friendly. It has a nice view so we ate outside. Love this place!
My husband and I love cricket long dogs! Their fries are crinkle fries and are hot and fresh every time. What really struck me was when we were there recently, I notice how clean and well-maintained their outdoor dining area is. The large parking lot is appreciated too. Keep up the good work!Food: 5/5
The best hot dogs in the world! Their world-famous, one-of-a-kind sauce for the hot dogs is exceptional! They also serve amazing burgers and a lot more! I drive an hour each way just to have lunch there! I grew up in Stratford, and this place is still incredible! 5 STARS!!!! Food: 5/5
