Expectations were high. Restaurant looked so authentic something different for Puerto Rico. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Menu had a good choice a little through back to 80's but that seemed fine. But there was Big Disappointment to come. Our Chateau Briand arrived asked for medium. They served it with blood ouzing out onto the plate seeping into the vegetables. No No No Christina came to table and simple said you obviously don't like it medium . No I just want it rested and no taste of blood on my vegetables. They simply mopped up blood with serviette at my table and put down the plate and it simply ouzed again. We stayed for 2 weeks at Cristina Villas Calla Millor, the accommodation is about half a mile from the town/beach it is up a hill on the way back with shopping from the Aldi supermarket and was a bit grim as it was hot when we went. The accommodation is usual Majorcan decor which is nice, the only problem we had was the lack of sun beds around the pool and the biggest gripe the lack of umbrella's, the pool is very claustrophobic with beds almost touching, the pool is very noisy also with loud music, it's not a place for a peaceful holiday, lots of children even in the school term, I wouldn't like to stay in high summer the sun would be unbearable. Cala Millor is lovely and will go again but...
Recientemente tuvimos el placer de cenar en Restaurante Cristina y debemos decir que la experiencia superó todas nuestras expectativas. Tan pronto como llegamos, el atento y sonriente personal nos recibió calurosamente. El ambiente del restaurante era acogedor y familiar, perfecto para una velada relajada en familia. The personel and Christina herself were very friendly and nice. Unfortunately the food did not meet the expectations. For main course I had sirloin with roquefort sauce, my absolute favorite. But the meat was of a very poor quality, full of tendons, inpossible to chew. My friend took a tartar stake and it had absolutely too much garlic, the flavour of the meat dissapeared in it. So despite the friendliness, we will not visit this restaurant again.
we were there a few weeks ago and it is still the best restaurant in pourto rico the food is excellent and staff great we have been going there for many many years and always look forward to returning we would recommend this restaurant to anyone we would like to thank christina and her daughter for all the great times we have had brenda
