Great Mexican food at reasonable prices. I had been to the Cristina 's in Addison a couple of times and hated it. Years later, my boyfriend dragged me to the one in Garland and we LOVED it! We used to go there about once a week and had a couple regular waiters who were awesome. The free kids ' meals on Tuesdays is a great deal and we 've taken advantage a few times. I personally like their fajitas, the fresh 'made at the table ' guacamole, and the fish w/garlic that comes on a hot fajita plate. My boyfriend loves all of that, too, as well as their enchilada 's and chicken mole. The meals are yummy and you get big portions for the money. Can 't go wrong with that!
I have to agree that the food is over priced but I thought it was tasty. (Except for the chips and salsa. I really liked the beans and rice and the brisket tacos. My husband got the chicken mole and that was pretty good too. I think we try a few other places before we go back just because it is a little pricey for what you get.
I enjoyed our experience here. The staff here was super friendly. They highly suggested I try their chili relleno, so I ended up ordering the Carne Asada with Shrimp Relleno. It was worth it! The meat was tender and also the shrimp was cooked perfectly. I would recommend coming here if you have the time.
