Cromars Classic Fish Chips

This charming little restaurant is literally in the center of st andrews. which makes the perfect location to replenish energies before exploring the beautiful streets of the city. serve the classic fish chips in all the variants, my choice was packaged beef (instead of the classic bounce) and I loved it! definitely a must stop if you are visiting st andrews. after eating, the walk to the castle and the beach of the restaurant is a beautiful place.

Great Fish and Chips the staff are really friendly. I really recommend this place if you want a good chippy. Please don 't go to The Tailend restaurant the staff there are not so welcoming especially when not busy. Anyways its a great experience here, fantastic food the Fish is fresh and just flakes when biting through the kids loved it I HIGHLY recommend this place for Fish and Chips. You will NOT be disappointed!

Ordered on the app as a first time customer and got a wee discount which was nice! It also meant I could just collect quickly upon arrival. Friendly and efficient staff. Had the veggie black pudding supper, with chippy sauce, which was really tasty and had good flavour. Four stars as a little pricey but can't fault them on quality. Recommended to us by a local to be the best in St Andrews.

We went back to the restaurant yesterday and this time we decided to dine in. The service was excellent and the haddock and cod with chips and peas were fantastic. We also enjoyed tea with bread and butter. The young servers were outstanding and consistently made sure we were satisfied with our meal. Réservez une table maintenant

I did not visit St. andrews for a fish sauce, as this was a few years ago. cromars was very busy at 8 o'clock and I can see why. one of the best squids I have ever tasted and cannot recommend very enough. the staff also worked very well. I will definitely be back and not leave it so long

brilliant restaurant. I couldn't break my fishcakes and chips eating. Except maybe the chips were a little smaller. but both were perfect. the fresh tartaric acid sauce was also great. highly recommended.

probably the most tasty fish and chips we had! nice light sprinkle, tasty chips and even the muddy heaps and brot and butter were great! would recommend def...decent cuppa tee also!

We drove through from Glasgow for ice cream and ended up here and it was the most delicious fish chip we’ve had. The homemade tartar sauce was also delightful. We’ll be back.. Réservez une table maintenant
