Made a booking for 1830 and then told that stopped serving food at 1800 after travelling for 45 mins and 25 miles through traffic. Not informed of any issues before arriving even though had a booking. Re-booked for a few days time and made a...complaint through Marstons Website. Within 24 hours had a response from Marstons and then the Cromwell's manager who couldn't explain what went wrong!!! My partner and I stumbled upon this restaurant while trying to go to another one (which turned out to be closed), so we decided to give this a try instead. We were pleasantly surprised by Ollie, who was very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The food was really good - the fish that my partner ordered was cooked fresh to order and was one of the best he had ever had. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to try it out. We will definitely be back.

came here last Saturday, just to eat a drink and a bit after shopping. even if we had to be outside (covid restrictions) I was pleasantly surprised. After sitting we ordered our drinks, no probs, ordered our food, no probs, (btw Burger...was fantastic! and to round it off, there was a dj that played great music (club style) to the new management I say good! overall a great time. will be back the only problem was the weather, and unfortunately nothing can do about it
Our main dishes arrived soon after. I had the lasagna, which was tasty, and my companions ordered three different burgers. The cowboy yum yum burger with cheese and bacon was a standout, as well as the blue n black burger with Stilton cheese and mushrooms, and another burger with crispy onions and mushrooms. Overall, the food was delicious and I would definitely return to this restaurant again.
we are a group of 6 consisting of family and close friends who tried this bar for the first time. we had a choice of pizza and burger menus and eating was freshly prepared, beautiful and hot and served in good time...time that eating was very good quality and good value. the staff was very friendly and made us welcome. we'll be back soon.
came in to see how it was after the new owners took over. I was so amazed, they have completely changed the place. it is a friendly and welcoming environment. good prices for good drinks. all employees are so welcoming and accommodating. a wonderful place for a drink or eat. would definitely recommend it.
