Crooked Goose Bistro

This place is amazing!!! I phoned up to book a table for 6-8 (as I didn’t have confirmed numbers) and also to see what options they had for an awkward vegan! I’d been to the Crooked Goose before and knew they had a mushroom burger on the menu that could be ‘veganised’ and a jambalaya on their evening menu. I don’t like mushrooms and I’d had the jambalaya last time I visited- it was delicious but too spicy for me to share with my one year old. When I called I spoke to the chef directly and he couldn’t have been any more accommodating. Love the food, love the staff and the service (bartender is awesome) and most importantly loved watching and winning $20 from Gina as Tom Brady and the Patriots erased a 28-3 deficit to come back and beat the Atlanta Falcons in the Super Bowl. I will definitely be coming back and will look to earn some more money from Gina as Tom and the Patriots are returning to the Super Bowl in two weeks!! I have been going to the CGB since it opened. Love the bar service from yummy Cesars to a great wine selection. Food is top quality, the kitchen is always in top form. Great value for your dining dollar, Comfortable ambiance, intimate or sit at the bar and make a new friend. Order the house special Mushroom soup and house made bun. It will be the best you have ever eaten. Watch the game or relax by the fire....see you there!

I live super close to the Goose and I love it. The food is great and the staff are amazing. Fast service and amazingly friendly. Happy hour is the best and the rotating beer taps are top knotch. My new favorite place. A must try for anyone in Victoria!!! Réservez une table maintenant

Steve is awesome, the food is great, the tap selection is handsome and the staff is always happy and welcoming. A must stop for food and drink, especially if you are in the interurban/Burnside area!

Great food, great service some live music too! The portabello mushroom burger was awesome, so was the caesar salad, perfect fries the Non-Hawaiian pizza too. Defiantly returning!
