The restaurant is family-owned by college students who came together to help during COVID-19. They reorganized their space to accommodate outdoor dining on the terrace until autumn. Their coffee and chai lattes are amazing and the prices are better than chains. They also offer a wide variety of healthy and delicious icy fruit drinks. I haven't eaten much since COVID, but my favorite is a chai latte with a zimtrolle or speck, egg, and cheese on a roasted croissant with extra speck. I have been coming to this restaurant for more than ten years and keep coming back. The menu is occasionally updated, but the food is consistently good and the coffee is always generous. The real charm of Crooked Tree is its atmosphere. It has everything you could want from an independent coffee shop - cozy, comfortable, with friendly staff and reliable Wi-Fi. Whether you are a student, professional, or just meeting friends, Crooked Tree is the perfect place for you.

Not the fastest but the best! Pass up the Starbucks and the Dunkin and drive over here. I'm impressed with the food. Went with my husband a month or so ago then with a group of 5 friends. My friends said it is their favorite place and they love the menu. Like I said its a little slow but I think they have like 2 employees... Prob still faster than that Starbucks line.

Great coffee house with convenient hours. Large food and beverage selection, and the ultimate breakfast sandwich is always great. Very reasonable prices, and comfortable atmosphere.Main parking lot is shared with tenants next door, so it can fill up fast, but additional parking is only a few extra steps behind the building. Loved this place. I had heard of it and had it on my list of fun places to try. Today I finally went. Loved everything about it. Everything was exceptional. Could be one of the best breakfast sandwiches I ever had. This place is warm, fun and inviting.

My family loves Crooked Tree. For breakfast the oatmeal pancakes are my favorite. My spouse’s favorite for lunch is the turkey with curry dressing on a croissant. There coffee is great as are their drinks.

Great coffee and confections just a few blocks from Lindenwood University in downtown St. Charles. Very cosey, comfortable atmosphere that begs you stay and relax.

They had yummy lattes and a delicious pancake breakfast. I wouldn’t get breakfast if you’re in a hurry, but it’s a cozy spot and worth the wait.
