I've visited this place a few times, and I appreciate that it's never too crowded, but it's perplexing because the food is also excellent. I love the ambiance, and it's one of my go-to restaurants for dinner in Houston. It's somewhat of a hidden gem, offering some great dining rewards/perks. Parking is hassle-free. Their wine selection is truly outstanding, the ingredients are fresh, and I've never had a negative experience. I recently tried their cast iron seared scallops, and they were absolutely heavenly. Chef’s kiss.
I love the selections of wine in here and their flights. The food was good but I hope it's bigger portion. Like their Ceasars salad for 13 bucks was so little. Lol. Pizza was good tho. We had the black truffle and the butcher Pizza. It is delicious. I love the big boys flights and their wine selections on it. Service was nice cos they always check on our table. Will definitely be back in here. I like how relaxing the atmosphere here.
Susan was an outstanding waitress! She provided us with excellent recommendations and detailed explanations of what to expect from each wine in the flight. The happy hour is truly delightful, featuring a whole pizza for under $10. I will definitely be coming back with many more friends to enjoy this fantastic gem in Houston.
determined to check this place while in the city and I am glad that I did. susan was my server and she was very nice, the service was great. the outside terrace is small, but it is really nice! Of course I had a glass of wine and the birne and gorgonzola pizza was delicious! if they want to wrap a nice quiet place, it is!

Monday afternoon free pizza with the purchase of a bottle of wine. I like the pizza well made, I ordered the metzger and my spouse had the margarita pizza filled with a Spanish wine and a table filled with big friends. super beautiful server only for the band on Monday.
Susan and Elyse are the best!! They are very knowledgeable about wine and my husband and I throughly enjoyed our time on our date night. You can’t go wrong with the food or wine and the take home bottles of wine are really priced at a great price!!
I had a wonderful experience at CRU. I attended a graduation party there, and everything exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere, food, and service were all top-notch. The ambiance was inviting, and the staff were exceptionally polite.
came here for a girl brunch and we were pleasantly surprised. eating was delicious, service beautiful and the ambiente is sweet. I want to come back to the future.
