I believe that this restaurant serves the best hot pastrami sandwich in the San Jose area. My first experience with this place was at their Santa Clara location. Today, I treated my coworker to lunch and we tried the regular pastrami and the hot pastrami sandwiches after I had raved about how delicious they are. My coworker loved his sandwich. Mine was also good, but I must say that the Santa Clara location does a better job of ensuring that the sandwich is served piping hot. When I ordered from the Santa Clara location, my sandwich was still warm by the time I arrived home in Fremont. However, for this location, which is less than two miles away from my workplace, the sandwich was lukewarm...
I went to CRUST for my first visit during lunchtime. I decided to try their Hot Pastrami sandwich after hearing all the positive reviews. I was a bit skeptical at first, as many places often disappoint, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at CRUST. The Hot Pastrami was amazing, with tender and juicy meat on fantastic sourdough bread. The ingredients were top-notch. In my opinion, CRUST deserves a spot among the best sandwich places in town, along with Zanotto's (Naglee), Firehouse, and Togo's.
This was the best sandwich I've ever had. I got the November special-Hot Turkey sandwich. The bread was hot out of the oven with a perfect crusty exterior and soft interior. The inside was piled high with Turkey and cranberries with a hot gravy to dip it in. Delish! The owner was so kind and friendly and even gave me the yummiest lemon cookie as a first timer. Once he heard that it was my moms birthday he gave me another cookie to give to her. Customer service at its finest.
The bread at this restaurant is fantastic. I enjoyed the CRUST Sourdough Dip with Warm Au Jus, although I didn't care for the bacon jam that came with it. I wish there was an option on DoorDash to exclude it. The Fresh Baked Chocolate Chip Cookies are delicious, moist, and thick. The Spicy Turkey Sandwich is my favorite, it's always my go-to choice. I had a great experience at this restaurant! The staff member at the counter was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, answering all of our questions. The service was outstanding and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place and will be returning in the future.
I absolutely loved the sandwich. The ingredients were of high quality and the bread was fresh. The freshly baked cookie was a nice touch. They also had a good selection of refreshments. Overall, it was an excellent experience! Definitely one of the top sandwich spots in the area.
My 2nd trip here to meet a friend for lunch. All sandwiches are $12.49. A can of soda will add $1.99. they have indoor and outdoor seating. The bread is some of the best tasting of all sandwich shops. Service is fast and friendly.Parking: Shares parking with a business park.
