Cuckoo - Réserver une table

Cuckoo is a lovely addition to the Prestwich area with lovely interior and a very cute outside terrace. However, be prepared for them to never have any stock in. It’s almost become an on going joke with my partner and I, that maybe we should...go to Aldi first and get them some ingredients. On one visit, we had to order times because the waiter kept coming back and saying “So sorry, we don’t have that” or “I’m really sorry we’ve literally ran out” etc. When we’ve asked some of the staff about the Menu on our first visit for example, we asked what their ONLY dessert pizza is like. The response was “erm never tried it to be honest.” You would think that she could come up with at least something positive for a product of where she works. If it was our place we would be embarrassed to have the staff responding like that. Some of the staff seem really fed up and don’t want to be there. However, it redeeming features are the actual interior and when you actually get your order, the food and drinks are nice. The best feature about this place is the staff member Matthew. He seems to be the only happy person who works there, and is always friendly. When there has been no stock for drinks, Matthew has tried his best to come up with great alternatives and the last time we went, he even went to the shop to get the ingredient/ for the dessert pizza (which is so nice The “S’more” pizza is a Dough base with Nutella and marshmallows. (How hard can it be to have those ingredients stocked in, when they are opposite an Aldi? Overall a nice place for a weekday visit when they have their stock. I hope they can make a few changes to some of their issues as there are many new bars popping up in Prestwich and they will get left behind if they continue forgetting the basics.

The Cuckoo is a lovely friendly little cafe with nice friendly staff. A nice place to chill and have a coffee and do some work. The food is fantastic and there are healthy options available. Highly recommend

I came to Cuckoo on a Saturday afternoon to try out their pizzasUpon entering i instantly liked the place.

This is the place that kick started the bar revolution in Prestwich, Although all are trailing this place.
