1. I was served half a chicken that was dry and required a generous amount of sauce. I needed an extra small bowl of sauce because the initial serving was insufficient—truthfully, even two bowls didn’t suffice, and I was charged an additional $4 for it. 2. The menu forces you to choose between fries or salad. Who does that? In French comfort food, it’s customary to have both; it’s the least you can do to make sure we get our greens! 3. The desserts lacked texture. Both the Crème brûlée and chocolate mousse were basically liquid! At $40 per person, not including appetizers or drinks, I feel there’s a disparity in value. For the same price, you could dine at La Viga Seafood in Redwood Cit...

Cuisinett Bistro and Market is truly a hidden treasure! From the moment we entered, the atmosphere whisked us away to the heart of Paris. The gentle jazz music, soft lighting, and delightful decor created an enchanting setting. The service was outstanding; our waiter, Pierre, not only had a deep understanding of the menu but also shared a genuine passion for French cuisine. Every dish that graced our table was a work of art. The Coq au Vin was tender and packed with flavor, while the Ratatouille tasted like it had been crafted in a French grandmother’s kitchen. We felt like royalty, and the meticulous attention to detail throughout our dining experience was remarkable. An evening at Cuisinet...
This was our first visit, but it definitely won't be our last. We tried two fish dishes from the evening's special menu, which I've heard are available for an extended period. One was the Fisherman’s Stew with fries, and the other was a salmon dish served with vegetables and rice. Both were excellent and quite filling, leaving us with some leftovers to take home. The service was very good, and the owner came by to chat with us multiple times. The prices were as expected for San Carlos, possibly even on the lower side. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and will definitely be back.
I had a wonderful date night with my husband. Food was excellent, and I am happy to come back and try more about the menu! We ordered half a chicken with Poivre sauce and a quiche larraine. The chicken had a beautiful crispy skin and juicy meat, and the quiche was very soft and delicate. The lava cake was beautiful and warm, accompanied by a very unique nutmeg. Reservations should be made on weekends because they are very busy. The food was delicious and the staff was very helpful. There is a good wine selection available and you can get it by the glass or bottle. Some wines were bottle only. Seating is both indoor and outdoor. In cooler weather they have outdoor heaters. I've been fed to Cuisinett since? ve opened about 11 years ago. The food can never please. The Burger and the Pommes are the best. I also recommend the Moule Frites. Geoffroy, the owner is always pleasant and attentive and the staff gives excellent service. Now we can also enjoy the French market corner!
