Cunningham's Cafe Bakery

Located in the heart of Towson, Cunningham's Cake and Bakery is just a short distance from the bustling Towson circle. There is a parking lot nearby, or you can easily park at the mall or on the streets and take a leisurely walk to the bakery. I stumbled upon this bakery while searching for a local sourdough bread supplier, and I must say I was very impressed! The breads sell out quickly in the morning or early afternoon on a first come, first serve basis. The staff is welcoming and helpful with orders, and the food is delicious and light - making it a perfect spot for a quick brunch to start your day off right.

If you are thinking about dining at this restaurant, beware that they may not have certain items available. I went for lunch today and was told that they were out of Ahi Tuna on weekends, which is acceptable, but it should be noted on the menu. Additionally, while waiting for our food, a waitress informed us that there was no goat cheese for the salad I had just purchased for $23. It is unclear why their high prices do not align with the scarcity of their ingredients. I will not be returning to this establishment.

We're regulars here and the food is always delicious. the coffee and tea is great as well. my partner always gets the powerhouse, and I usually get French toast, Towson chicken, or hangover fries. always great every time. gets very busy in weekends and the parking lot fills up fast. there's paid parking on Allegheny Ave, free parking garage on E Joppa road, or the bus stops are close by as well. I have generally liked the food at this restaurant. They have great coffee and nice outdoor seating. However, I was disappointed to receive Smucker's breakfast syrup with my pancakes instead of real maple syrup. I was told they are not a fancy restaurant, but if they offer avocado toast on the menu, they should be able to provide real syrup instead of cheap imitation. This restaurant serves top-notch food. Seriously! While they may be pricier than other cafes, their dishes are some of the best I have ever tasted. It is worth the extra cost for a special treat. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect rating of 5.

I really enjoy dining at Cunningham's! While I must admit it can be a bit expensive for what you get, that would be my only criticism. However, the service is fantastic and the food is delicious. I would definitely recommend it!

I hope the amazing baker who used to make the best baguettes ever returns soon. The past few weeks have been disappointing without them. I am really looking forward to their vacation being over and them coming back.
