Currambine Chinese Restaurant

Last night we ordered dinner as a take away to be home delivered by Menulog. We ordered the meal at around 6.40pm to be delivered at 7.30pm. When delivered (at 7.40pm) the order was not as requested. We thought, oh well lets eat any way. The food was stone cold... Not luke warm - Freezing cold. We called the restaurant and were first advised that it would take over an hour to get what we originally ordered. We were then told that the temperature of the food is 'out of their control' . We asked to speak to the manager and was advised that there was nobody we could speak to. When we pushed this the staff member said Sorry' and then abruptly ended the call.Some good came from this. we dined here as a group of 7, we each ordered a dish and the serves were very generous. The food was very fresh and tasty, the dishes were staggered as they came out which was good because each dish was fresh and hot by the time we were ready to eat it. The only little niggling thing was we had to attract a staff members' attention so we could order and again to order more drinks.But, cannot fault the food, it was delicious!

great place with plenty of service and staff . special mention must go the caris who was very efficient in all our requirements and needs . the Mongolian lamb was served at our table so we didnt lose the sizzle from the kitchen to the table as is the case in most Chinese restaurants . the meals are very well priced and the quality of the lamb was very special . parking is easy and its a in a great restaurant area

Just popped in on Saturday night before we went to the movies. Our meal came out very quickly and was very hot. Not much choice on the menu for vegetarians, but they were happy to cook what I asked for. We didn't book in advance, but I think if you were to eat a bit later in the evening, you might have to.BYO available. Réservez une table maintenant

One of Currambine's original restaurants we have been going for years. ok so décor hasn't changed for years either but always spotlessly clean. Took our kids there and now grandchildren. Foods always tasty and plentiful lots of choices. Recommend the Honey Chilli chicken....

Ordered chicken curry, Mongolian chicken and beef chow mein. Chicken curry had a nice taste but very watery. Mongolian chicken was tasteless and once again watery. Beef chow mein was below average and very dissapointing. I won't be returning had far better elsewhere.

This has been our trusty regular take out restaurant for years. We have never been let down. The outdated Dsecore is the only thing that puts me off eating at the restaurant. Réservez une table maintenant

Beautiful food. I recommend the duck and the braised vege dishes. The honey king prawns were delicious. The restaurant is retro but squeaky clean.

We had a table of 10 and the food were served in generous portions and very authentic chinese Hong Kong style. It's also BYO which is a plus.
