I usually don't write reviews, but I had to share my experience with Liud, who did an incredible job on my boyfriend's birthday cake. She was very professional and promptly answered all my questions. I felt comfortable communicating my ideas, and she executed everything perfectly. We opted for a 3D car cake inspired by my boyfriend's favorite video game, Rocket League. Best Cuban sandwich in North Tampa! There have been comments about the use of pulled pork, but it's clear that some reviewers don't understand how a true Cuban sandwich is made. I suspect they may never have had one in South Florida or anywhere outside Atlanta. A proper Cuban is made with sliced pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard on Cuban bread, pressed flat. That's how they are served in the large Cuban communities in Florida by real Cubans. I've eaten them many times, and this is the most authentic Cuban sandwich I've had in Georgia—far superior to what the local smokehouse offers.

I really dislike giving a negative review, but I feel that this restaurant should be more transparent about their pricing. I simply asked for a Cuban coffee without milk and mentioned that I didn’t want it to be too strong. I understand that their coffee is on the pricey side, which I can accept, but when I checked my receipt, I noticed they had added two shots of espresso at $2 each to my basic cup of coffee. I recommend being cautious about what you order here and double-checking your bill before you pay.

The restaurant was scratched, overcrowded, and chaotic. The food was decent, but my Cuban sandwich didn't meet my expectations. I was hoping for shredded fried pork and genuine ham, but instead, I received pressed and formed ham.
