If you have three hours to spend for lunch then please ignore this review. This is the worst run restaurant I 've ever been to in my life. We waited 20 mins to be seated, a further 20 minutes to order, then waited 20 mins for our drinks to arrive. In the mean time we were provided a tray from the waitress who requested we clear the table from the last customers. Then I queued for 25 mins to pay the bill during which time the owner served their friends ahead of other queueing customers. The food was decent but I would not return here ever again.
This unfortunately is the only restaurant on the Swiss side of the skiing resort. We went there, the restaurant was full but there were some seats left. The terrace offered zero seats, all taken. So, this was a very busy day for sure. The waitresses are doing the absolute best they can and shall not be blamed, but the kitchen is seriously under-capacity'ed. I'll spare you the details of that disaster, but long story short: after 1hr10mns and not being served yet, we paid for our drinks, and left empty-stomach'ed.
This establishment has both a restaurant and also a café. The café is extremely basic with benches for seats and an area to help yourself to hot drinks. You can also buy snack foods. Still it is warmer inside than out and it is on the side of a mountain. Buy your cup of tea and then go outside to stand on the terrace to take in the amazing view and watch skiers whiz by.
